Description

Easy Steps? And Only Six?

And those six easy steps will change the world? It’s happened before. So, why not with us? When Acts opens, Christianity is little more than an obscure “sect” of around 120 followers living in one city. As the book closes, Christianity is a worldwide movement with thousands of faith-filled believers! That group of 120 must have done something right—so why not learn to imitate their “acts”?

Mighty Acts of God

In Changing the World in Six Easy Steps, students see how God transformed a group of timid, confused disciples into a bold, courageous church that’s still changing the world today. And they’ll learn what God can do when people are fully obedient to Him.

Through this study, students:

  • follow the growth of the Gospel as it moves like wildfire through Jerusalem
  • observe similar growth in their own lives—in their hearts, schools and communities
  • be challenged to imitate the lives of those early believers and experience acts of God in their lives

 Testimonials:

“This was a great study.  I’ve never seen a youth study that is so loyal and faithful to the Word of God.  This was my first experience with an InWord study and I plan to use it forever.  The book of Acts is becoming very clear to my students. Great study!”  Nathan, youth worker, Santee, CA

“One student in our study group was baptized this past Sunday morning.  Her father shared that their family talks about what we go over in our group and that the lessons really hit home with her. We appreciate the material you write; it helps us reach kids for Christ.” Rhonda, youth worker, Ladysmith, WI

“These studies are phenomenal. A student recently came up to us and shared, ‘Every week you have challenged me.’” Sarae, youth worker, Mt. Pleasant, MI

Additional information

Physical (book) and/or Download (PDF)

You can order a book, or a PDF, or both. It’s all according to your and your leaders’ preferences. You’ll need a book or a PDF for each study group. Each option has its pros and cons. One note: if you order a physical book you can still download the student pages for reproducing (you’ll find a password in the book for access to these pages).

Physical (book)

Leaders need one book per group. Student pages are reproducible and still downloadable (you’ll find a password in the book for access to these pages). Pros: It’s already printed out for you and ready to go. This is probably the best set up for personal study. You don’t need access to an electronic device. Cons: It’s obviously a little more costly and keeping track of a book may be less convenient than keeping track of a PDF.

Download (PDF)

Leaders have permission to use one download per group. For example, if you have four groups involved in a study, we ask that you purchase four “downloads.” Student pages are reproducible. Pros: It’s obviously less costly and more portable; depending on how your personal computing is set up, a pdf can be “cloud” based. Cons: Typing your thoughts/notes into a PDF can be a bit clunky and more difficult to use in leading your session.
