Dear Bible App Idea Helper:
How’s THAT for a title!? This app idea is very far from being an “app”, and in fact is just out of the back-of-a-napkin stage. But, we’re collecting feedback as to whether the idea can provide deep Bible study impact through a simple framework. As a small thank you, we wanted to give you some tools of Bible study that might help you more fully experience the Word of God in your personal journey. The first tool you’ll see is the Bible study app prototype. The second and third tools are for your personal use. And by the way, InWord has historically been a teen Bible ministry, the tools are for all ages. In fact, the Bible app will likely be geared for college age and adults. By the way, we ask that you keep this app idea limited to your personal use. If you know of someone who might enjoy providing feedback, please let us know and we’ll be in touch.

This tool is very far from being an “app” but we’re collecting feedback as to whether the idea can provide deep Bible study impact through a simple framework. The links below are MS Word documents, each document is a tool for studying a different chapter of Colossians. And yes, a rudimentary knowledge of MS Word will help. You’ll see instructions in each document. In essence, we’re using a Word table and sorting to emulate the functionality of an app. Yes, it’s very clunky, but hopefully it will give you a sense of what we’re trying to accomplish. At the very least, this will give you a chance to spend time in a great book of the Bible! If it’s an effective tool, we’ll move forward in app development. [Tech Note: you’ll likely be asked by your browser to “save” the document when you click the link. Save the document to your computer and then open it with MS Word. |
